55th Warsaw International Book Fair Has Started Today

Today's opening of the 55th Warsaw International Book Fair was marked by controversy.  In a fight between Polish Publishers and Ars Polona (the organizer of the book fair) the publishers decided to organize their own book fair one week before the international fair.  This has resulted in a dramatic reduction of Polish Publishers at the 55th fair.  Among those publishers present, however, were our friends at Media Rodzina - Polish publishers of Dr Seuss, Harry Potter and many other children's and adult titles.  This year they are presenting Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling with amazing illustrations!  Among the international exhibitors is a very strong collection Russian stand and also a two large booths with Ukrainian Publishers.
